small idea make a dev / gm take a per test while filling out the fourm for appling for any opening for ice-cold staff jobs that way you know your geting the best befor you even hire them and saves you guys time !

Ryan does plan to have the Developers do a little test before he thinks of accepting them. However, why would GMs need to be tested?

Well, Isn't the trial GM phase basically a test for GMs?

I would guess so, but I think firedog was meaning like a test outside of the game or something. Not a test in-game.

How would they test them ? Give some examples of what you want.

GMs get tested in-game with them being a Trial GM. That is basically when they get used to the commands here and later on can know what most of the commands do.

Developers do not really get tested in-game. Since they deal with things outside of the game, that later get put into the game (If they are Core Developers and such). If they were a Web Developer, they would design things for the website.

And firedog, We already talked about the trial GM phase. Which what me and Molton are saying. IS the GM test in game. I believe it lasts a few weeks. And Ryan closely monitors what they do to make sure they're ready to be a full GM.
