Vordnox
What if you could bring back reforging... and because i am aware that it causes a lot of lagging, couldnt you just bring it back for a week? Say... reforging week? And you could do one now, one in three months time, for example... and if one is not satisfyed with his stat changes, then he could transer his VIP gear to another character and then it would be back to normal... just sayin :P VefTreme

It would just makes classes very overpowered. They would probably have to test reforging to see if it would be too overpowered.
Vordnox
Well its worth a shot. They should give it a couple of weeks to see how the players interact, but if things go messy, then they can reverse the stats :P But even if they have already tested it in theory and have realized that its not possible, its still worth a shot, because players might like it and may want to experiment with new classes

So you could reforge thousands of stats back then. Now it's in the hundreds. Like I said in my previous post, it would have to be tested to make sure everything would be fine. mavrathion
We would have to test it in the Dev server, if we just give it to players and if all hell breaks loose the plan can't be to rollback, because any items that you farmed between when it starts and the possible rollback then everyone would be pissed
xJetStar721
If it works, and I somewhat doubt it will, this just adds to the big list of surprises to come on the new patch which is still unknown when is it gonna be public. Finish up Matt! D:
razzle frakes
May as well put it back in, mastery is disabled, haste is static, defense has a cap, and just about everything else from it is useless. I don't see much that could change combat too drastically.

counterwow21
Indeed, I've seen alot of issues with reforged gear, aka, if you reforge in pure haste then you can cast castable spells while moving. So paladins can just roam and heal or mages and roam and murder you. :P

Vordnox
Hey but thats awesome !!! And casters will get to be more active that way !!!
Tiri
But when reforging was used last time, it was before the stat slash. Now that the stats are slashed, you probably can't run and heal anymore. At least I wouldn't think so ._.
Vordnox
Still it would be useful to caster
Molton
As far as I know, the only people that could run and heal if reforge were to come back would be VIP 7's. No one else would be able to since they wouldn't have enough haste.
Vordnox
........and remind me why this is a bad thing :P
Tiri
I don't think the haste cap was lowered with the stat slash. And since the stats are slashed now... I don't think it's possible to obtain running and healing. I could be wrong.
Vordnox
Well, VIP 7 do worth it though if it is possible :P
