starting troubles

I don't believe the client quite matters. Try deleting the following:

Cache
Data->Cache (In the data folder)
WTF
Interface

Delete all those folders, and if the problem persists please tell me. I'll look into it.

I hope you don't mind me stepping in.

A lot of times after server maintenance or if you are just having a hard time connecting to the game it's a good idea to power cycle the connection. This will clear out the DNS cache and allow the connection to build new connection information.

Here's how to power cycle:

1. Turn off all computers on the network

2. Unplug the power from the modem and the router (if applicable)

3. Wait about 1-2 minutes

4. Plug in the modem first and wait for it to completely boot up

5. If there was a router, plug the power back in and wait for it to completely boot up

6. Turn on the computers and try the game out

If that doesn't work try flushing the DNS:

Windows 8

1. While on the desktop, press Windows Key + X.

2. Select Command Prompt (Run as Administrator).

3. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

Windows 7/Vista

1. Click Start.

2. Select Programs.

3. Select Accessories and locate the Command Prompt shortcut.

4. Right click the Command Prompt shortcut and select Run as Administrator from the drop down menu.

5. Continue with the Windows XP directions (step 2) below.

Windows XP

1. Click Start, then select Run and type CMD in the Run box. A command prompt window should open on screen.

2. Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.

3. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.

4. Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.

5. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.

6. Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt.

7. Close the command prompt and attempt to make a connection.

Mac

1. Open the Network Status menu: Apple menu > System Preferences > Network.

2. Select the active connection from the Network Status menu and click Advanced.

3. Click Renew DHCP Lease. This process may take a few minutes.

4. Close the Network window.

5. To flush the DNS cache, open the Terminal. (Go > Utilities > Terminal).

6. Type in the following: dscacheutil -flushcache

7. Reattempt the connection.

Note: You will not get any feedback from Terminal if this is done correctly on any OS.

Let us know what happens.

I doubt it would have anything to do with the client since you can log onto Reaper without any problems.

It has to have something to do with the Eternian realm in specific. Could there be any problem with your characters on Eternian causing the realm to kick you out again? Have you ever logged on to the Eternian realm before?

I'm trying to find a solution, I'm sure the Eternian management is working on one as well.

Only other thing I can think of for you to do is to copy the IceCold Launcher into a new folder and then clicking the Re-Install option and it will rebuilt the client for you.

Most of the time that will fix it. Then when it's done post on here to let us know if it worked please.
